Phaedra Parks’ Bundle of Joy

Back in May, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks gave birth to her second son, Dylan. The child is the second son for Parks and husband Apollo Nida, they have a 3-year old son Ayden. Juggling the filming of the hit Bravo show, Parks’ job as a lawyer, Nida’s as a fitness trainer, and a bouncing three year old isn’t easy and it became even more hectic when Dylan was delivered three weeks early.

While on a trip for work in Augusta, Georgia, an emergency C-section had to be performed. Parks was 150 miles away from home and unprepared. Parks admitted to US Weekly that she hadn’t packed her hospital bag and she did not make any plans for Ayden. Parks spilled to the magazine, “I’m usually an Eagle Scout when it comes to being prepared!” The excited couple forgot about their lack of plans when their second son was born eight hours later.

Parks and Nida are enjoying life at home with their two boys and are using the time to prepare accordingly for Dylan’s naming ceremony. Dylan’s name has not been made official yet. “We’re waiting to have a traditional African naming ceremony,” Parks explained. “Right now, we’re just enjoying every moment.” Big brother Ayden is enjoying his moments with Dylan as well. “Ayden pretends to ride his bike to the store for diapers and calls him ‘my baby!’” Parks exclaimed.

Filming has started for the new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta and fans of the couple can expect a peak into their new life with two boys.
