Report: Porsha & Kordell Stewart Faking Divorce Drama Because They Got Fired From RHoA?

According to reports to date, Kordell Stewart filed for divorce from Porsha Stewart without forewarning, leaving her to learn about it on Twitter. She admitted in a statement that she was blindsided and “disappointed” at being humiliated in that way. It was callous and shocking and it created drama in time for the season finale and reunion (in terms of viewers, the shows were filmed before the filing).

The Real Housewife elaborated on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she read about her divorce on her cell on Twitter while her husband was in the adjoining room. She asked him in person and he admitted to filing behind her back. Another anecdote she shared at the same time was that they’re living in the same home still. Yes, she readily admitted that she’s living in the same home as him even during the divorce.

And now MediaTakeOut.com has a very convincing explanation about WHY the couple is still living together. According to the report, the couple observed the attention Nene Leakes got for her divorce and re-marriage so they’re doing the same. Also, the Stewarts had been fired from the show and were instantly re-hired in light of the divorce drama. In short, they’re still living together because they’re allegedly still in a relationship together.

The insider, who works very closely with the Atlanta Housewives told us, “Porsha found out that she was NOT going to come back on the show – and both her and her husband [Kordell] desperately wanted to stay on the Housewives.”

The insider continued, “So they figured if they created a fake divorce, like NeNe did – it would be enough drama for them to be asked back.”

And it worked. MediaTakeOut.com confirmed with a Bravo exec that Porsha was officially dropped from the cast. And that once Kordell filed for divorce, both Kordell and Porsha were asked back.
