In a development that’s only really shocking if you don’t watch this couple’s dynamic on Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kordell Stewart BLINDSIDED wife Porsha Stewart by filing for divorce. Which, honestly, fans could have guessed.
TMZ.com is reporting, Kordell filed in Georgia without so much as a warning phone call because Porsha found out about her divorce when you did! Maybe even AFTER you did. No, really. TMZ says “she learned that her husband Kordell Stewart filed for divorce this week when she read it on a website.” AccessAtlanta.com broke the news.
They were going through a rough patch, and Kordell says they are separated, but Porsha’s rep says she “held off on filing for divorce papers herself because she was committed to the marriage… Kordell had promised to work on the marriage with her… Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith.”
Porsha released a statement through her rep, saying she’s ”disappointed about her husband’s recent filing for divorce.”
