Life & Style Magazine Uses Its Recycled “Pregnant & Alone” Headline For Kate Middleton

November 21, 2012 by Hollywoodite

One of Life & Style/ OK!/ ITW’s favourite headlines to recycle, and apply to every couple no matter the actual story, is “Pregnant and alone.” Presumably playing to the fears of its readership. Just like Star overuses its “The End” headline for every couple it’s decided is going through a rough patch.

The “Pregnant and alone” headline is usually reserved for fabricated filler about reality starts. But there’s no real exclusives going into Thanksgiving weekend, so Life & Style is applying it here with a nonsense story about Kate Middleton’s non-pregnancy. Just like Us Weekly did with its cover this week.

The cover says: “Exclusive: Kate’s Biggest Fear… Pregnant & Alone. Prince Williams has six weeks to choose between his military career or family life with Kate.” Again, no, she’s not pregnant.

Here’s a teaser from the story: As she prepares to start a family, Kate Middleton asks Prince William to give up his dangerous role as Royal Air Force pilot. Go inside his tough decision, plus, the relaxing babymoon he’s planning to help calm Kate’s fears.” And here’s the story.

As the end of 2012 approaches, Prince William must decide if he will continue to serve in the Royal Air Force and be stationed 200 miles away from his wife, Kate Middleton. Several insiders tell Life & Style, on newsstands now, that the duchess is keen on starting a family, which would require having her husband home and by her side.

“Kate wants to have a baby next year, but she doesn’t want to be left to raise their child by herself while William is away for weeks at a time,” an insider reveals in the new issue of Life & Style.

William has until the end of the year, approximately six weeks from now, to decide whether he will remain in the RAF or give it up to focus more on his royal duties and his family. And insiders say Kate has been urging him to choose to stay with her. “She doesn’t want them to be apart for that long [six weeks] ever again,” the insider tells Life & Style.

“Kate knows how much William loves the military,” the insider admits. So while Kate understands that leaving the service would be a sacrifice for William, deciding to start a family is a step they both need to be present for. “William doesn’t have long to decide,” notes the insider, “so the pressure is really on.” – via Life & Style Magazine.
