Ray J Hooks Up with Kim Kardashian Lookalike in I Hit It First Music Video

The bitter ex-boyfriend strikes again. Ray J is on a mission to prove that ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian isn’t the only one who can secure mainstream success following the 2007 release of their sex tape. Today, TMZ.com posted the video for the singer’s controversial new single, I Hit It First. Not surprisingly, the visuals align perfectly with the incompetent and intentionally salacious diss record.

“No matter where she goes or who she knows /She still belongs in my bed,” Ray J sings as he stakes his misogynistic “claim” on the most famous Kardashian sister. Though he never explicitly names his ex, the tasteless lyrics—complete with mentions of “rappers and ballplayers”—seem to point a finger directly at the expectant star. And just when it seemed like he couldn’t be more passive aggressive in his approach, Ray J denied that I Hit It First has anything to do with Kardashian. “It’s a song, it’s not about that; it’s about a concept. People going way too deep,” he said in an April 8th interview with Hot97.

The release of the video only solidifies his pathetic attempt to use Kardashian and her current (and most famous) boyfriend, Kanye West, to sell records. Directed by J.R. Saint, the visuals showcase a “Kim Kardashian lookalike” as she parades around with Brandy’s little brother. But don’t worry, it gets better. Eventually, the One Wish singer records his leading lady as she stares dreamily into the camera—not unlike Kim K. in their notorious “home movie.”

And just in case viewers weren’t already sickened by the R&B crooner’s grand display of desperation, he adds in quick references to Kris Humphries and West. Hence, the shot of a man playing basketball and a Chicago freeway sign conveniently heading “west.” Of course, he claims, none of this is designed to be disrespectful. “It’s a song, we just having fun,” Ray J went on to say to the crew at Hot 97. “I’m not trying to create no war.”

Surely he won’t have to worry about that. Kimye has yet to even acknowledge the track. By refusing to do so, the couple has implicitly told us what we already know—Ray  J doesn’t exist in their world.
