Reunited Once Again: NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak Make Up

Just when we thought the impossible would never happen, Real Housewives of Atlanta stars NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak have patched things up and are friends once again.

A very heavily pregnant Kim was last seen storming out of a restaurant in this season’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. She had a dispute with the group about her being too far into pregnancy and needing doctor approval to travel to Anguilla. Most of the ladies had rearranged their schedules to accommodate Kim’s pregnancy so she would be able to join the group in Anguilla and were very upset when Kim started to make excuses for not being able to attend the trip. Kim has since left the show and has a spin-off on Bravo, Don’t Be Tardy.

According to inside sources, about three weeks ago the season five reunion show was filmed and Kim remained very composed, calm and refused to fight with the other ladies, leaving NeNe very impressed. During a recent interview with InTouch Weekly released March 28, 2013, the New Normal star stated she was extending the olive branch and will be inviting Kim to her wedding with ex-husband Greg (from whom she split in 2010 and later divorced in 2011). She has also stated that she believes Kim will come.

In response to the reconciliation, Kim stated “I have always been and I continue to be happy for NeNe, and I look forward to being invited to the wedding. NeNe and I started this journey together and although we have had our ups and downs, I am excited to get our friendship back on track. We were friends Long before Real Housewives of Atlanta, and we will be friends long after RHOA if it’s up to me.”

This goes to show it is never too late to fix a broken friendship.
