Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion: Part Two Recap
On Sunday night, Bravo aired the second episode in the three part Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special. Last week’s drama was no match up for what happened this week.
While NeNe Leakes eye-rolled and laughed her way through much of the first part of the reunion, things got heated between her and Phaedra Parks in part two. Allegedly, Parks sought out Leakes’ long lost half-sisters in order to dig up dirt on The New Normal star. Parks ultimately failed at her plan because Bravo never aired the footage and word got back to Leakes. Leakes also said Parks brought Marlo Hampton (who appeared on the last season of RHOA) into the mix to stir up trouble between Leakes and Hampton because they both briefly dated the same NFL player. Although the ladies denied it, Leakes felt all of the ladies, except Cynthia Bailey, were trying to ruin her marriage.
The pregnant Parks felt the wrath of Ms. Leakes and was quick to issue up an apology. Leakes has done a pretty good job staying neutral this season when drama engulfed the cast mates but never wavered when it came to putting her foot down on any amount of disrespect when it came her way.
Then, right on cue from Andy Cohen, in walked Kim Zolciak. Wearing an emerald green Stella McCartney dress that highlighted her post-baby body and wearing her “natural” hair, Zolciak was put in the hot seat.
While all of the women seemed fed up with Zolciak’s antics, Kandi Burruss was the most vocal at the reunion. The women went toe-to-toe on everything. From the name Kash (the name of Zolciak’s second son with husband Kroy Biermann) which Zolciak said she put into an LLC and had the papers to prove it. Zolciak’s negative comments about the location of Burruss’ homes being in the “hood” and the plethora of excuses Zolciak has come up with over the years to get out of showing up to various events. The two did agree on one thing, their friendship is now non-existent.
However, BFFs turned enemies Leakes and Zolciak DID have somewhat of a makeup on the show. Leakes said the two women are “in two different places” in their lives but managed to make nice and embraced each other in a hug.
The preview for next week’s final reunion episode seemed pretty explosive as Kenya Moore calls out Apollo Parks, and Peter Thomas goes in on Moore.
