Jessica Simpson won’t invite father to wedding because of his plus one?
Jessica Simpson hasn’t said much in the media about the end of her parents’ marriage. Moreover, she had no real response to the claims made about her father and other men, and the sham marriage of decades that produced two children.
However, that doesn’t stop the tabloids from talking about her parents, how they interact with one another (or don’t), and how it will affect Jessica’s upcoming wedding.
According to sources for the National Enquirer, Jessica is so worried whom her father will invite to her wedding as a plus one, she may not invite the patriarch at all.
“Jessica’s relationship with her father has deteriorated so much she doesn’t want him at her wedding,” a source told the National Enquirer. “She’s afraid he’ll make a spectacle of himself, or worse yet, start something with Tina.”
“Jessica still loves Joe,” clarified the source, “but she wants the day to be about her and Eric, not some sideshow with her dad.”
“Joe was devastated,” the source added, about Joe’s reaction to not being invited to the 2014 nuptials. “But his relationship with Jess is hanging by a thread, and he doesn’t want to rock the boat any further. So he’s not making a big deal about it.”
