Is Jennifer Aniston Pregnant for Real This Time? Us Weekly Says Jennifer Is Having A Baby!

This again.
Back in 2011, it was pretty much taken for granted that the tabloids’ boilerplate roster on a slow news day was “Katie Holmes/Jennifer Aniston/Angelina Jolie having a baby”. Which pretty much consisted of taking photos of them after they ate some carbs, circling a nonexistent “bump” then pulling a bait-and-switch when there was obviously no baby nine months later.
Justin Theroux even addresses this phenomenon in the new issue of GQ, where he says “when I get complimented on the street because I’m having twins—that’s weird.”
It’s about 24 hours since GQ released that quote and it’s unofficially “confirmed,” Jennifer Aniston is pregnant. Not “twins for Aniston” in a story that’s about how she could theoretically adopt. Not a story in Star/ ITW/ Life & Style/ Enquirer, but in Us Weekly. Which is sub-PEOPLE, admittedly, but Us still has a reasonably accurate track record with lifestyle news (incidentally, Life & Style is pretty accurate with baby news too… so we’ll see).
For whatever it’s worth, the cover says “Jen’s big secret: PREGNANT. After years of trying, she’s finally going to be a mom at 44. How she’s prepping for baby and a wedding.”
Inside the issue, a source explains, “She is scared of having a miscarriage, given her age, so they are not saying anything until she is six months along. Jen and Justin’s wedding plans are on hold for the time being, the baby is taking priority.”
Asked for a statement from the Daily Mail, however, Aniston’s rep says “Jennifer is not pregnant.”
