The RHOBH Ladies Have Mixed Emotions About The New Girls
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ fourth season premieres in less than two weeks and on Wednesday night, the cast celebrated their premiere party. During the event, the ladies dished on the new cast members and revealed how some of their relationships with one another have evolved.
Following the season 3 finale, it was announced that Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud would be joining the cast of the show in place of Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer. While both ladies are gorgeous, rich, and successful, as is standard for Real Housewives, they are extremely different when it comes to their personalities and have gotten mixed reviews from the existing cast.
According to Lisa Vanderpump, she is a fan of Carlton and claims she has been “very supportive,” but when it comes to Joyce, Lisa seems a bit unsure. “She’s very honest, that’s for sure,” Lisa told Us Weekly. “I didn’t get off to a great start with her, but I like her very much. I think she is very straightforward and very direct, and I like that about her.”
Brandi also hit it off with Carlton. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about her and Joyce, who she recently called a “narcissistic b***h.” ”I like Carlton and I don’t like Joyce. Carlton is a real straight woman. She is a great woman, a great mom. She is the real deal and no BS, and the other one is the complete opposite.”
In her defense, Joyce says she’s completely authentic, and if people don’t like the real her, she’s not going to let it get to her. “I think it’s always tough to be a new girl in a bunch,” Joyce noted. “I’m honest and I’m myself. Some people will like it, and some people will not.”
During filming, as you’ve surely heard by now, Brandi and Lisa had a bit of a falling out and although fans won’t know until the season what exactly happened, Brandi seems to be hinting that there is hope for a future reconciliation. “We don’t hate each other. We love each other a lot,” she said. “There is a hiccup in our road, and I think some things were done and said, and I’m hurt and she is hurt. I hope that one day we can be friends again.”
Following her fallout with Brandi, she and Kyle became closer which came as a bit of a shock considering their season 2 feuding. “It was a gradual change. We had so much other drama to get through. We had to go through stuff to get where we are now,” Brandi explained. “I think at the end of the day we are both mothers of young children, and she gets it.”
“We are in a good place,” Kyle added. “We are in a much better place than we were, but obviously it couldn’t get any worse than it was. We have gotten to know each other more, and we understand each other better.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 4 premieres on November 4 at 8/7c on Bravo TV.
