RHOBH: Taylor Armstrong Proposal Not Filmed!

September 6, 2013 by Ricky Guo

This is a first for Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. That the proposal for one of its stars was not filmed for the show.

As reported earlier, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong got engaged to her lawyer and boyfriend, John Bluher, last week, and we all thought that it was going to be caught on camera. But we were wrong.

A source exclusively tells WetPaint, that “the proposal was not filmed for the show.”

This year has been the year of Real Housewives weddings and proposals. NeNe Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta got engaged to her ex-husband, Greg Leakes, and then she got a spin off, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding. Then, Gretchen and Tamra of The Real Housewives of Orange County got engaged and Tamra is now starring in her own wedding spin off also. This season of The Real Housewives of Miami is all about the weddings of Joanna Krupa and Adriana de Moura.

Personally, I’m glad that she decided not to show the proposal on air. She has been known to over share too much, between her deceased husband’s financial issues to his suicide. She’s never been the one to keep stuff to herself. But, luckily for us fans, she gave us details about how the proposal went down.

“The special engagement took place on the beach,” says Taylor. “Just steps away from their ocean front suite, candles lined the path from their room to the beach, where John had a huge white tent filled with white roses and lilies and from the center hung a dazzling chandelier, the sides opened up to a stunning view of the ocean and breathtaking sunset.”

“I am so much happier than I’ve ever been,” Taylor adds. “I never thought I would feel this way.”
