RHONJ Casting News: Three New Housewives Are Joining The Show

The Real Housewives of New Jersey has had one of the more stable casts of all the Real Housewives franchises. During their five seasons, the changes in talent have been minimal. Sure, they lost Dina Manzo and Danielle Staub and added Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile, but compared to most cities, that’s hardly worth noting.

While the casting formula seemed to be working for the show at first, things have now changed. Caroline Manzo announced that she was leaving the show earlier this week and yesterday, Teresa Giudice seemed to accidentally confirm that Jacqueline was leaving as well when she called herself the OG of NJ.

Now, in a new report, fans are learning more about the direction the show will be taking for season 6.

“Jacqueline will not be returning to season 6 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Kathy Wakile’s role is also demoted and she will now be labeled ‘friends of the housewives’ instead of a Real Housewife,” a source revealed to AllAboutTRH. ”Dina will be coming back on board for season 6. Once Bravo knew that Jacqueline and Caroline weren’t returning, they approached Dina afterwards to be apart of the next season. She considered it and finally agreed so it is official. Dina Manzo is back.”

In addition to the changes made to the season 5 cast, Bravo is reportedly adding three new wives to the series, two of which are twins. “Bravo has officially confirmed that Nicole Napolitano and her sister Teresa Napolitano will be added to the cast for season 6. Both sisters are twins and are very close with each other. They would never fight on TV or go against their family. Nicole and Teresa’s good friend, Amber has also been cast for season 6!”

Faux Reality Entertainment was the first to report the news of the Napolitano twins joining the cast of the show. According to the site, they began negotiations sometime last month.
