Rob Kardashian Has Known About Brother-In-Law Lamar Odom’s Alleged Drug Addiction For More Than A Year

August 30, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin

Rob Kardashian has been living with his sister Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom for years now. So, he’s the one person who truly knows what the pair has been through and what’s going on with them now. In a new report, it is even claimed that Rob has known about Lamar’s drug addiction since early last year.

Rob has “known about Lamar’s drug addiction for over a year. How could he not as he has lived under the same roof with Lamar and Khloe? Rob even spent a significant amount of time with Khloe and Lamar when he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks,” a family insider tells Radar Online.

“Rob isn’t a party animal like Lamar, and drugs just aren’t his scene. The two used to be very close, but have drifted apart because Lamar has been abusing Oxy and cheating on Khloe,” the insider states. “Rob has continued to live at the Tarzana mansion to support Khloe, he really has her back.”

No brother wants to see someone mistreating their sister and for Rob, things are no different. At the same time, he wants what is best for Lamar. Rob and Lamar are close and as his friend, Rob doesn’t want to see him struggling with addiction. While it has been reported that Lamar secretly went to rehab in August of last year, he seems to be having hesitations about going back to treat what insiders claim to be an addiction to OxyContin and Ambien.

“[Lamar] is really trying to make amends with both Khloe and Rob,” the insider adds. “Khloe is being more receptive, but Rob is very suspicious because Lamar is still refusing to go to rehab.”

As reported earlier this week, Lamar returned home on Monday where he and Khloe have been discussing their marriage and how they can make it work. Since he has moved back in, Khloe has been seen wearing her wedding ring which had previously been removed.
