Rob Kardashian Sued For Allegedly Assaulting Photog And Stealing Her Memory Card

May 1, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin

Rob Kardashian has put on a few pounds since fans first met him on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. In fact, the reality star and sock aficionado recently admitted to a 40-pound weight gain following a messy break-up with British pop star Rita Ora. Since their split, Kardashian has been trying to get back on track, but along his journey he found himself shirtless and being photographed by a Los Angeles photographer — much to his dismay.

Kardashian wasn’t too happy that paparazzo Andra Vaik caught him shirtless, especially since he still had a long way to go before reaching his goal weight, so what did he do? According to reports, he attacked her and stole the memory chip out of her camera before returning the camera to her and fleeing the scene. Now, she’s suing him for assault and robbery.

Vaik’s lawyer tells TMZ, “While this case is still in the preliminary stage, it is clear from our investigation that Robert Kardashian’s violent behavior and his use of force towards Ms. Vaik was completely unjustified.”

People from the reality star’s camp claim that Kardashian was simply in defense mode after Vaik trespassed onto private property. Witnesses claim she hid in her car at famed celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson’s West Hollywood gym and waited for Kardashian to begin changing. Once he did so, she leaned out of her car window and began snapping away.

While Kardashian’s story may be true, it doesn’t exactly justify him confronting Vaik and stealing her memory chip.

This news comes just days after Neiman Marcus announced that it would no longer be carrying Kardashian’s high-end sock line, Arthur George.
