Did Life & Style Land The First Interview With Robert Pattinson Since Being Cheated On?

Admitting its own duplicity and nebulous wording, Life & Style Magazine is lingering on the cheating scandal this week (even though People Magazine has since moved on to the Olympics and Us Weekly, who broke the story, has moved on to the Kardashians).
The week the news broke that Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, Life & Style was stuck on a fabricated Kourtney Kardashian story about the 33-year-old’s first weeks mothering two children.
So, Life & Style is playing catch-up with a cover claiming to have spoken to Pattinson for his “first interview since Kristen cheated.”
Inside the issue, however, the magazine admits the interview was “conducted… a day before Kristen was caught with Rupert Sanders.” So, was the interview conducted before or after Stewart cheated?
The Us Weekly cover landed July 25, and the cheating photos were taken July 17. But Life & Style doesn’t specify the “day before” which of these dates their interview took place. Pattinson could have known he’d been cheated on, the day prior to July 25. Or not, the day prior to July 17. Pattinson may or may not have known he’d been cheated on with this declarative “I can’t trust anyone.” But Life & Style doesn’t explain its timing any further.
Life & Style may be alluding to how Stewart was forewarned prior to Us Weekly’s exclusive hitting newsstands. Stewart warned her swain that she cheated, and that everyone else would know soon too. So, for example, if Pattinson spoke to Life & Style July 24, yes, that changes the context of the interview because he would have know he’d been cheated on.
If Pattinson did know he’d been cheated on during this interview, he didn’t let on though. He insisted he’d never been betrayed by anyone close to him.
As Robert Pattinson prepares to confront Kristen Stewart, he opens up in a new interview, revealing he didn’t see the cheating scandal coming.
“[I] can’t trust anyone,” the actor eerily foreshadowed in a revealing new interview in the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now. Conducted just a day before Kristen was caught with Rupert Sanders, Rob confesses, “I’m quite hypersensitive. Sometimes it makes it easier to stand your ground if you’re sensitive.”
In fact, when asked if he’d ever been betrayed during the July interview, Kristen’s poor, unsuspecting beau replied, “No… never by people who are actually in my life, like who are my friends…. No one’s ever done anything, which is crazy.”
The scenario was too good to be true. Little did he know that his 22-year-old girlfriend would be snapped hooking up with her married boss Rupert, 41, on July 17. Since the embarrassing scandal broke, the pair’s contact had been limited to phone calls.
However, not wanting their first reunion to be in public on the red carpet, Rob’s considering Kristen’s persistent requests to meet up. “She’s begging for a meeting,” a movie executive who’s worked with Rob tells Life & Style. “I think he’ll do it out of respect for their long relationship, even if it’s to say, ‘See ya, we’re done.’” – via Life & Style Magazine.
