Robert Pattinson Good Morning America Interview On August 15

Robert Pattinson’s Good Morning America interview August 15 will be his first sit-down interview addressing Kristen Stewart cheating with Snow White & The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Good Morning America landed its coup over rivals Today Show.

Pattinson has been billeted away since the release of the Us Weekly Magazine cover on which Stewart can be seen with Sanders in a series of photos that her fans insist, to this day, are Photoshopped (they’re not, they’re real, obviously so). This will be the first confirmed sighting of Pattinson that’s not a source account of his living with Reese Witherspoon and jogging around her property, nor fabricated reports of his partying out of the country.

His rep confirms, Pattinson is committed to promoting Cosmopolis, which premieres in New York City August 17, two days later. And so he’s obliged to do at least one in-depth interview that will serve as promotion for the film while also probing for how he’s coping with the fallout from the scandal.
