People, Us Weekly: Robert Pattinson Hiding At Reese Witherspoon’s Ranch

Once again, People Magazine is trailing Us Weekly in its coverage in the scandal of Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson. Us Weekly broke the story last Monday and, about one hour later, People.com posted its own report confirming the same information.

This week, Us Weekly broke the news that Pattinson hasn’t been seen in a week because he’s been hiding at his friend’s house; specifically, he’s at Reese Witherspoon’s ranch. And now, about seven hours later, here’s People Magazine confirming, you guessed it, Pattinson is hiding… at Witherspoon’s ranch.

The cover says: “The Real Story: Inside Her Betrayal. Kristen’s secrets and lies. Her private confession to Rob; Rob’s despair: drinking and ignoring her calls. Will he take her back?” The story says, in short, he’s hiding  and not taking Stewart’s calls after being blindsided (Stewart only told her boyfriend she cheated when she got caught by the tabloids).

His world shattered, Robert Pattinson turned to someone he knew he could count on: Reese Witherspoon.

Immediately after learning his girlfriend of three years, Kristen Stewart, had cheated on him with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, Pattinson asked his friend and Water for Elephants costar if he could crash at her tranquil estate in Ojai, Calif.

Pattinson was utterly blindsided by the news, which a distraught Stewart delivered just before the story broke July 24.

“There was no sign that either of them was unhappy,” says a source close to the 26-year-old actor. “He would have done anything for her.”

While the source says Pattinson has had his “heart ripped out,” a Stewart insider says the Twilight heroine, 22, is likewise devastated.

“Telling Robert was the worst thing she’s ever had to do,” says the insider. – via People Magazine.
