Us Tabloids Agree With UK Tabloids: Robert Pattinson “Still In Love With” Kristen Stewart

A few days ago, there was a spuriously-sourced report in the British tabloids that Robert Pattinson had forgiven and reconciled with his cuckold, Kristen Stewart, who was caught cheating in July with director Rupert Sanders.

The report in The Sun newspaper stated that the couple were back together after Pattinson minimised the cheating as a “stupid mistake.” Multiple outlets said otherwise, citing Stewart’s own publicist at the Toronto International Film Festival telling journalists that the couple were dating quietly so Pattinson’s reputation wouldn’t be harmed further… any “reconciliation” was quickly dismissed, however, as pre-Breaking Dawn: Part Two spin. Moreover, an attempt to appease the apoplexy of the more die-hard fans.

A new report from Us Weekly falls somewhere in the middle: it’s claimed they’re still talking, there are still feelings on both sides, Pattinson is forgiving and he’s still in love too, but they’re not technically dating again, yet. It almost sounds like they’re smoothing things over, communicating, so it’s less-awkward for the Breaking Dawn: Part Two promotion. And any suggestion of anything romantic or physical sounds like a lie being spoon-fed to fans by Stewart’s publicist.

A source tells Us Weekly: “He started thinking nobody else would understand his life. His rational voice told him not to toss a three-year relationship for one infidelity. They have a very deep connection. Plus, they’re young. All relationships at that age have drama.”

The Us source also confirms some of last week’s reports: the couple is dating quietly, fearing a backlash, and they won’t confirm anything until their joint promotional tour is over. “He’s invited her over for visits, [he’s] still in love with her,” says the source. “They’re working it out. They’re keeping things on the down-low, [they’re] afraid of backlash. [They’ll] wait a few months… then announce they’re getting back together.”

And there’s a report from People, today, saying basically the same thing: they have already reconciled, as in, they’re talking again. There are still feelings there. And they may eventually date again, some day.

After the most trying, painful couple months of their three-year relationship, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart recently “had a dramatic makeup” in Los Angeles, sources reveal in the new Us Weekly.

Gutted by Stewart’s shocking mid-July affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, [Pattinson] finally agreed to meet his estranged love, 22, for an initial meeting.

After that [meeting], the Twilight twosome (Breaking Dawn Part 2 hits theaters in November) have met on subsequent occasions, another source confirms. “They’re working it out,” the source tells Us. “He’s still in love with her.” – via Us Weekly Magazine.

Speculation of a possible reconciliation between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson has been swirling since the news broke that she cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders… and People has learned that the couple did recently reunite.

Stewart, 22, and Pattinson, 26, met up in Los Angeles over the weekend of Sept. 15, People reports in its upcoming issue.

And, according to an insider, the Twilight hunk’s [friends] “think they’ll be a couple again.”

While Pattinson was completely heartbroken over the split, says another source, moving on is “easier said than done … and clearly harder than expected.”

When Stewart admitted to having a tryst with Sanders, she made clear she hoped it wouldn’t spell the end of her three-year relationship with her Breaking Dawn costar. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob,” she said in a candid statement. “I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

Both Stewart and Pattinson have stepped out publicly since the scandal broke, but neither has directly addressed the status of their relationship. – via People Magazine.
