Life & Style Cover: Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart’s “Secret Wedding”

There have been persistent rumours, over the past few weeks, of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reconciling and working on the trust issues caused by Stewart’s public affair with a married director. Because that’s always a great reason to get married so young. And because the sanctity of marriage means anything to a 22-year-old who cheated with another woman’s husband.

A RadarOnline.com source says of the trust issues being worked out, in part, to smooth over awkwardness ahead of this month’s Twilight press tour where they’re confirmed to be working together: “Despite claims that all is rosy, he’s still not completely convinced that giving their relationship another chance is the right thing to do. For one, his family and friends are totally against the idea. And, although he’s his own man and makes his own decisions, there are times when he thinks they are right. And there are moments when he continually asks her questions about the affair, so it’s all still very tense, they have some really serious trust issues. But they were brought together again by a great friendship so there could be hope. Robert thought Kristen was the girl he was going to marry. However, that’s all on hold for the moment until they try and work things out. This could go either way.”

Anyway, that’s the rumour. And Life & Style is a week or two late to the party with its cover that claims they’re getting married. The cover says: “Exclusive: Rob & Kristen’s Secret Wedding: The Twilight stars have only just reunited, but she’s already forcing him to commit.” Who’s pressuring whom to marry depends on which sources you believe.

A source tells Life & Style: “When they first dated, Kristen was standoffish…. get didn’t want to get engaged or married. Rob did. He felt like she was everything. She was his dream woman, but she wasn’t so sure. Now an engagement and wedding would seal the deal between them and make Kristen very happy. Kristen doesn’t want to stay away from Robert for long. The cheating scandal made her realize that without Rob she just doesn’t have much. Without him she was lost.”
