Royal Baby Distant Cousin of Blue Ivy Carter

Turns out that American royalty doesn’t fall too far from the British royal family tree. It has recently been discovered that the Royal family is distantly related to some of Hollywood’s very own A-listers. The new Royal baby will be 23rd cousins twice-removed to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s girl, Blue Ivy, the Daily Mail reports. It is no question that the royal baby, who will be dubbed Prince or Princess of Cambridge, will be one of the most famous royal births. His or her play dates will now include some of the world’s most elite babies, but keeping it in the family, of course.
Records dating back generations show that through extended French relatives and early English settlers that came to America in the 17th century have blood on both sides of the ocean. Family historians at findmypast.co.uk have revealed how far back American and British Royalty go after searching through the 1.6 billion records the site currently holds. All the information is public and is located on a computer genealogy database on the site. Anyone is able to access this information and do their own searching.
Other celebrities that the Royal baby will be distant cousins with include Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s children standing at 11th cousins. The baby will also be 26th cousins with Brad and Angie’s large brood. Other celebrities that have royal ancestors include Hilary Duff, who is distantly related to King Edward III, dating all the way back to the 13thcentury.
With a little digging, it’s possible that anyone is related to either American or British royalty!
