Us Weekly: Russell Brand Tell-All Book About Marriage To Katy Perry

Us Weekly is making the stale divorce drama, of two people who appear to be over it and have mostly moved on already, the cover of their January 18 issue. The magazine claims Russell Brand will write about his marriage breakdown in another installment of his Booky Wook series of books. However, the only ones labouring the point about the divorce work within Us Weekly’s FanFic department.
The cover reads: “SHE’LL NEVER FORGIVE HIM: Russell’s Shocking Tell-All. Katy’s nightmare comes true as Brand plots to reveal their darkest marriage secrets in his book.” It’s more source accounts, since neither Perry nor Brand had any say in the piece. But the tabloid claims Brand “wants to tell his side of the story.”
A source continues: “The book will cover his married life, the breakup and moving on. I don’t think he plans on keeping the breakdown of the marriage a secret. [Katy is] panicking about just how much Brand will reveal. There’s definitely stuff she doesn’t want out there. [Russell even] videotaped a phone conversation he had with Perry before Christmas, right around the time of the couple’s expletive-filled final blowout.”
Nope, nope, nope.
GossipCop.com clarifies, there’s so much positing in this piece no one even checked whether a third book was really in the works. Us Weekly assumed yes and filled in the rest. However, sources tell Gossip Cop: “There are no plans for a third book at this time.”
