Earlier today, in an exclusive by Life & Style – who often get this stuff wrong or just write pieces as works of creative fiction – it was reported that Ryan Reynolds has been having intimate dinners with his ex-wife, Scarlett Johansson. It was reported by the magazine that, after arriving to dinner together, they flirted and looked at each other lovingly. It was all convoluted and dripping with conjecture, but the same rumours had been circulating for months. So, meh.
Us Weekly has its own assertion, this week, in the same issue they suppose that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting married. It’s being claimed by Us Weekly that Reynolds has a girlfriend-of-months, and it’s not Johansson; it’s allegedly Academy Award-winner, Charlize Theron. Theron was in a relationship-of-years, before ending her romance with actor Stuart Townsend in 2010.
It’s claimed by a source that Reynolds and Theron are dating and have been exclusive for months.
The Green Lantern star, 34, and Charlize Theron, 35, “have been dating for months! They’re exclusive, and it’s very hush-hush.”
While the two haven’t been photographed together, a witness noticed Reynolds’ motorcycle at Theron’s home all morning on June 5, then saw the actor exit her house around 3 p.m. and she left just minutes later. Has Reynolds (who split from wife Scarlett Johansson last December) found a perfect match?
“They’re both career-focused,” explains the source, “but not in a crazy way.” For instance, don’t expect to see the stars side-by-side on a red carpet. “She won’t go to an event with him,” the insider says of Theron, who split with love of nine years Stuart Townsend in 2010. “That’s not her style.”
Meanwhile, Reynolds hasn’t completely shut off contact with famous ex Johansson, 26. He and the Iron Man 2 actress were spotted having a cordial dinner last Friday at Little Dom’s in L.A., an observer confirms. – via Us Weekly.
Okay then, Us Weekly were cordial enough to not poop on Life & Style’s exclusive. They admit their own sources know about the Johansson/ Reynolds dinner; there’s just nothing more to that. The real romance is between he and his new semi-serious girlfriend, Theron.
