Saturday Night Live’s Jason Sudeikis Will Not Return Next Season

Another one bites the dust. After Saturday Night Live legends Fred Armisen and Bill Hader decided to end their SNL careers last year, Jason Sudeikis has decided to follow suit.
The 10 year SNL veteran spoke of his decision to leave on the Late Show with David Letterman on July 24.
“I’m definitely done, I’m gonna leave. I’m not coming back next fall,” Sudeikis said.
While the funnyman may not be missing SNL at the moment, that “itch” might return once the show returns this fall.
“You’ll start to get that itch probably in August where all these sketch ideas will show up and I’ll be like, ‘Well, can I make this sketch idea last 90 minutes and turn it into a movie?! Probably not. It’s been really really amazing, I was very very lucky,” Sudeikis told Letterman.
Sudeikis was a writer on SNL for two years before joining the cast as a regular for eight years. Since making his mark on the sketch comedy show Sudeikis has gone on to star in several movies such as Hall Pass, Horrible Bosses and the soon-to-be- released, We’re the Millers.
