Selma Blair Finally Gave Birth To Baby Boy Arthur Saint Bleick

Selma Blair has been pregnant for what felt like a preternatural amount of time. She wasn’t. But if felt like she’d been pregnant for the better part of a whole 12 months. She must have had at least four other babies in the interim, right? She can’t have just been pregnant with that one baby and then birthed that out after so long. Nah, she had a couple of spare babies stuffed up there to keep her entertained in the interim. She’s totes a mother-of-five now. It’s too much of a suspension of disbelief that she’s a mother-of-one.

Okay, that’s the story she’s telling and she’s sticking to it. Let’s play her game. Blair gave birth to her first and only child after getting knocked-up with the seed of her fashion designer boyfriend, Jason Bleick. The couple confirmed the news to People.com. Their baby boy, Arthur Saint Bleick, not to be confused with 16th century Saint Arthur because Blair’s not as original as she seems, was born on Monday and he weighed 7 lbs., 12 oz.

This is the first time there’s confirmation of the baby’s sex; the couple kept it out of the media. “I’m not going to say what it is yet. Hopefully, it’s one or the other,” she joked in March.
