Shahs Of Sunset: Did Lilly Ghalichi Really Graduate Cum Laude From Law School?

Lilly Ghalichi is a recent addition to the second season of Bravo reality show Shahs Of Sunset. Early into her introduction, Ghalichi talks about herself a little. Including her business background and why she’s currently working in the unrelated fashion industry.

Ghalichi designs the bikini line that was promoted last episode and this episode. But she’s not really using her business background to its fullest, even though she’s running her own business, since she’s trained in law. She explained during an earlier episode, she’s actually a lawyer who graduated top of her class.

The claim is reiterated in the bio on her official website: “Businesswoman Lilly Ghalichi has a lot more to her than meets the eye. She may look like a Persian Barbie on the outside, but this bombshell comes along with intelligence and drive on the inside. As an Attorney, Lilly understands the extreme importance of education as a tool of empowerment. She attended the Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. She furthered her formal education at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she received her Juris Doctorate with honors (graduating Cum Laude / Order of the Coif), and became a licensed Attorney in the State of California.”

People are still questioning her academics because of how she’s portrayed on the show. So she posted proof. She shared two images of her certificates on Twitter with the captions: “To those of you asking if I really graduate top if my law school class, YES I did! Cum Laude / Order of the Coif” and “To those if you asking if I really did graduate cum laude top of my law school class, YES I did. #respect” Incidentally, she also posted proof that her brother is a doctor.

Apropos of nothing, but she’s been defending her weight on Twitter too. She’s a thin girl, although she says she’s naturally skinny and haters are just jealous (her sister’s a skinny girl too).

For example, two months ago she posted a photo of her lunch and captioned it: “For those of you that think I don’t eat, you WISH you had my metabolism. I am perfectly happy and healthy. #haters #hateon #chilicheesedog #yummy #lovemybody”  And days ago, she shared a photo of herself buying and eating lunch with the caption (the first part is a re-tweet): “‘honey, you need to eat a cheeseburger.’ Ironically waiting for one now at Hamburger Haven,” and “…now it’s in my tummy. I thank God every day for my skinny body and my amazing metabolism!”

And shortly before the season two premiere, Ghalichi shared a childhood photo with the caption: “ Kindergarden, I insisted on buying my own clothes and doing my own hair. Nothing’s really changed- big hair, lace dresses, outrageous accessories!!! #ghalichiglam”
