Snooki and JWoww Are Back

MTV hasn’t confirmed a third season of the Jersey Shore spinoff, but several shore towns have, according to USA today. Officials from Berkeley and Seaside Heights confirmed that the show’s production company, 495 Productions, bought a film permit fee on Wednesday.

“It seems like a very small production,” said John Camera, Seaside Heights Business Administrator.

Camera explained that, from his understanding, some of the cast will be based in Seaside Heights and another group will be based in the Pelican Island section of Berkeley.

Pelican Island was hit hard by Superstorm Sandy last year. With only 140 homes, a lot of the island is being rebuilt, elevated or torn down. It seems likely that the show will play up the emotional aspect of Sandy’s devastation.

The home that will be used in Berkeley is owned by Mike Loundy, who also owned the home that was the main setting for Jersey Shore. The Seaside Heights home is owned by the borough’s public affairs officer, Michael Gracien.

Residents have mixed feelings about the presence of film crews in their neighborhood.

Snooki & JWoww will primarily feature the title stars, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, but will also see the return of some other members of the Jersey Shore crew.

Anyone excited for another season of GTL?
