Snooki Confirms She’s Pregnant & Engaged: Snooki Baby Bump Photo
March 7, 2012 by Hollywoodite
We already knew this, but it’s easy to feel sorry for Us Weekly who paid for a stale story leaked by competitors so let’s play along.
* Star Magazine had the exclusive on Snooki’s pregnancy, early February, although Snooki denied the claims feigning offense that people thought her newly-slim frame looked pregnant.
* Page Six revealed at the end of February that Snooki had lied because she was in negotiations with the tabloids of whom Us Weekly was the winner.
* People Magazine revealed the engagement Monday after a source tip and Snooki was walking around on the set of her spin-off wearing her engagement ring (rumoured to cost $55,000 at five-carats) hours later.
Which means she somehow gave away her pregnancy and knowingly gave away news of the engagement after she charged Us Weekly for the same information (serves them right for sitting on the story for an extra week).
The cover story is basically confirmation of the old news: Snooki is 15-weeks pregnant and she’s showing a pronounced baby bump which can be seen in the cover photo; she’d been drinking all through New Year’s Eve when she learned of the news; she doesn’t care that you think she’s an easy slore, with no sense of morals or priorities, because she’s excited about her OOPS! baby.
“I have different priorities now. I don’t care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I’m ready and he’s ready,” says the expectant mother, admitting she lied to the media at first.
She found out she was pregnant “right after New Year’s. [I thought] ‘S**t, I’ve been drinking!’ I was worried. It was New Year’s Eve and we were in Vegas, so I did go crazy.”
And the birth will be crazy, because she wants house music played by DJ Pauly D during delivery, immediately followed by her drinking a glass of wine after the birth.
Adds probable-father Jionni LaValle: “We are not going to screw this up.”
The couple reportedly hopes to land a joint reality show about parenthood and being married similar to the Tori & Dean-style show.
