Snooki Talks Pregnancy Weight Gain: “I’d Die If I Were Jessica Simpson’s Size”
Snooki is still promoting the spin-off on which her first ultrasound is shown.
Entitled Snooki and JWoww vs. The World, it’s the slightly more contrived and heavily scripted version of Jersey Shore. With bonus footage of Snooki drying out and watching co-star JWoww from the sidelines. Snooki is effectively benched for a bunch of this shoot because she quit drinking a few weeks into her pregnancy (the 24-year-old admits drinking heavily before realising that she is expecting).
Snooki recently gave an interview with Us Weekly Magazine, during an MTV Event. She was asked a series of insipid questions, like whether she’ll spray-tan her kid like parents do on Toddlers & Tiaras: “My baby’s gonna be naturally tan. If you look at me and Jionni [LaValle], we’re very dark, so luckily the baby will be very dark. I won’t be spray tanning my baby.”
Asked about baby fashion, she continued: “If it’s a girl, animal print everywhere and blinged out everything. If it’s a boy, I would dress him like Pauly D.”
Asked about not needing maternity clothing yet, Snooki started body-snarking Jessica Simpson: ”I’m so skinny that I can wear larges or extra larges. I only just bumped up to a medium. I’m five months and you can’t really see anything. It’s gonna pop up in like a week. I would die if I were [Jessica’s] size. She’s like 45 months pregnant right now! [Jessica] said she indulged in everything that she wanted. I’m trying to eat healthy; fruits, lots of jelly and Italian ices. Nothing fattening at all.”
Included is a photo of Snooki March 21 (three or four-months pregnant) and Simpson March 18 (early eight months pregnant).
In related news, other celebrities are also wondering whether Simpson had her baby yet. Even though, some estimate Simpson may not even be due until May 1. Katy Perry tweeted Thursday: “Has Jessica Simpson had that baby yet?! I’m getting anxious.” Chelsea Handler tweeted: “How has jessica simpson still not given birth to this baby? I’m getting frightened.”
