Photos Of The Spice Girls Rehearsing For 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony
Victoria Beckham sparked rumours the Spice Girls would reunite, again, for the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.
At the time, Beckham shared a photo of her gaudy microphone encrusted in crystals with the caption: “Look what I found!! X vb” As though it were randomly lying around her home and she wanted to share the find. But Beckham was hinting at the reunion. And now there are photos of the rehearsals for the performance as shared by fans on social networks.
In the photos, you can see all five members (Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Chisholm) atop mock London taxis; a prop version of the black cabs you would really see if you were in London. Also climbing onto the taxis are male dancers in black suits. Aside from the dancers, it’s not a dress rehearsal as the girls are wearing their own clothes (they wouldn’t want their costumes to leak online since this dry-run is happening out in the open).
