Starter Wives Confidential’s Liza Morales Talks About Khloe Kardashian
Starter Wives Confidential is basically derivative of Hollywood Exes although it’s missing the ex-partners of people like Eddie Murphy and Prince and it’s instead a number of rapper and sportsman’s exes. It’s less-interesting with a less-diverse cast.
From the pilot, it’s a lot of sitting around in people’s kitchens and talking about the women who have succeed them romantically while sounding, in all honesty, bitter about it all.
One of the most vituperative towards her ex-boyfriend is Liza Morales.
She met Lamar Odom when she was 14-years-old, they started dating when she was 16, and they had three kids together during their relationship including a baby who died in his sleep of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) at six-months-old.
They were together a decade, but Morales alleges that Odom shut down and refused to talk about the baby’s death.
They split, and 18 months later Odom married Khloe Kardashian who became the stepmother of Morales’ kids.
Morales adds that she’s been with no other man before nor since and they’ve been apart four years now.
Even though Morales insists the show isn’t about “bitter exes,” she still told Confidenti@l a mouthful about [Khloe] Kardashian, who’s been married to Odom for three years now and often spends time with Morales’ kids.
“I don’t know if she’s good maternally, I don’t know. As long as my kids are good, I’m good,” Morales says of Kardashian, who has desperately been trying to have a baby with Odom. “As long as my kids are taken care of and I haven’t heard anything negative, then I’m good.”
Morales, who resembles Kardashian, had this to say about the comparisons between the two women: “I’m 100% Puerto Rican and I was here first. I was here first, so she has a resemblance to me. I don’t see it. We both have dark hair. We both have a cherub face. I don’t think we look alike, but I have heard it. Imitation is a form of flattery!”
Morales, who promised Odom she wouldn’t “talk s**t” about him on the series, describes how their relationship fell apart after their son died. “Who abandons their lady?” she asked. She explained that Odom never opened up about the death and they grew distant. Morales also claims she hasn’t had sex in four years, since she was with the basket-baller, and that she’s only slept with him. “I’m not waiting for marriage, I’m just waiting for a good man. I will be like a caged animal out of the Bronx Zoo.”
Also on the TLC show are Floyd Mayweather’s ex Josie Harris, who shares three kids with him; rapper DMX’s ex Tashera Simmons; ex-mob-wife Cheryl Caruso (who claims she didn’t know her ex, Phil Caruso, was a mobster when he was jailed); DJ Funkmaster Flex’s ex Monica Joseph-Taylor, mom to two kids with him; and Zakia Baum, ex of rapper Jermaine “Maino” Coleman, who has a son with him. – via New York Daily News.
