Tabloids: Angelina Jolie Agreed With Brad Pitt, Didn’t Want Him To Retract

The tabloids have gone crazy for the Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie thing this week. It’s a mess of Pitt’s own making, to be honest. Moreover, the tabloids have, weekly, conjured stories about weddings, babies and the non-existent love triangle and romantic jealousies based on nothing at all over the past six-years since the Aniston-Pitt split. And Pitt just gave them credibility, validity, and a green light for 10 more years of this love-triangle that won’t die.

In Touch Weekly claim Jolie agreed with Pitt’s original comments about his boring marriage to boring Aniston. “That is her exact opinion of Jen. She thinks she is a boring person. It’s as if Angelina specifically told Brad to say those things in the interview.” A source adds that Jolie is “calculating” and so “she gets Brad to do her dirty work.” Seems unlikely. Jolie had a lot to say and things to get off her chest in the Vanity Fair interview and she’s often gently-mocked for giving away everything short of her social security number whenever she sits for Vogue/ W or whomever. Jolie has her own mind and mouth and she’s not been afraid to speak for herself and be held accountable before. Apparently, Justin Theroux stopped letting Aniston get wet in the NYC rain yesterday long enough to have a reaction too. Says ITW, “Justin couldn’t believe what a coward Brad was. He [called and] said [Brad] should keep his mouth shut about his life with Jen… Chivalry is not dead in Justin’s world, He wants to defend the woman he loves… [Justin badmouthed Pitt to a studio exec, saying Pitt was] a wimp and a loud-mouth bully.”

OK!, who made this their cover story, adds that Jolie didn’t want Pitt to issue the retractions because he’s right! “In her mind, he had no business groveling and apologizing to Jen. It’s clear that he still loves her. Why else would he go on and on about how wonderful she is? If Angie has one vulnerable spot, it would have to do with their staying in contact. Angie’s very cut and dry. When she moves on, she moves on. She doesn’t speak to [ex-husbands] Billy Bob Thornton or Jonny Lee Miller. And she expects Brad to do the same with Jen… Brad and Angie are not in a good place.”
