Taylor Swift Caught Dissing One Direction During MTV’s Video Music Awards

Taylor Swift was looking as hot as she’s ever looked at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. However, it wasn’t her dress nor her hair that people are talking about this morning. Instead, it is her outrageous caught-on-camera diss of her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles’ band, One Direction.
On Sunday night, after One Direction took the stage to accept an award, the camera, as it often does with the exes of certain stars, went right to Swift. But instead of seeing her putting on a smile and offering up a gratuitous clap, fans saw her mouth the words, “Shut the f**k up.” Selena Gomez was sitting next to the country star and upon hearing her comment gave a little smile.
Earlier in the night, Swift accepted an award of her own for Best Female Video for I Knew You Were Trouble and during her speech, she seemed to have thanked Styles who is rumored to have been her muse for the song, saying, “You know who you are and now I have this award.”
As for Styles’ reaction to Swift’s words, E! News claims he “smirked as he kept chewing his gum.”
Swift seems to be pretty bent out of shape when it comes to Styles, but the fact of the matter is that they didn’t date for all that long. In November of 2012, the two were first seen together at a taping for The X-Factor in Los Angeles. Weeks later, they went public with a date at the Central Park Zoo in New York. Then, by early January of this year, the two had parted ways.
