Teen Mom 3 Cast Mackenzie Douthit, Alexandria Sekella, Briana DeJesus, Katie Yeager

16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom, and Teen Mom 2 have been a mixed bag until now. Some of the girls continue to be irresponsible and make children their parents end up taking care of. Some of the girls sacrifice for their kids and have done a great job being mothers and role models. And the rest just spend their salaries on boob jobs and nose jobs while chasing dreams of legitimacy.
And here we go again, as MTV and In Touch Weekly Magazine reveal the Teen Mom 3 cast with bios and a series of photos.
There’s more below but the confirmed girls will be: Mackenzie Douthit, 18, Alexandria Sekella, 18, Briana DeJesus, 18, and Katie Yeager, 19. And here are bios for the girls.
* Mackenzie Douthit, 18, of Miami, Oklahoma. She “stopped taking the pill because she didn’t want to get fat” then she got pregnant. She ”had baby son, Gannon Dewayne McKee, on September 12, 2011 with her fiance, Josh McKee.”
* Alexandria Sekella, 18, of Allentown, Pennsylvania. Alexandria “Alex” Sekella “is an aspiring dancer who had a baby with her now ex-boyfriend, Matt McCann. Sekella’s mother made it clear that if [the teenager] did not put the baby up for adoption, Sekella and the baby would have nowhere to live. When she decided to keep the baby, McCann’s mother allowed her to move in… Sekella’s and McCann’s daughter, Arabella Elizabeth Sekella-McCann, was born on July 18, 2011… Sekella and [increasingly unreliable] McKann have since broken off their engagement and McCann spent time in rehab for his drug addiction” although it appears he may have relapsed. McKann is not allowed to see his child and Sekella works two jobs to obviate the need for paternal support.
* Briana DeJesus, 18, of Orlando, Florida . Her ex-boyfriend Devoin Austin II “broke up with her when he found out she was pregnant. Her sister got pregnant around the same time and decided to get an abortion, so their different choices will undoubtedly be compared all season long. The [teenager] gave birth to a daughter,” Nova Star DeJesus, on September 9, 2011.
* Katie Yeager, 19, of Rock Springs, Wyoming. She and “her live-in boyfriend, Joey Maes, are the parents of a daughter, Molli J Maes, born August 18, 2011″ on 16 & Pregnant. She “is still with the baby daddy, her fiancé, who works long hours at a coal mine, which caused problems for the couple. She managed to graduate high school and is studying to become a social worker.”
In Touch can exclusively reveal the cast members of Teen Mom 3: former 16 and Pregnant teenage mothers Mackenzie Douthit, 18, Alex Sekella, 18, Briana DeJesus, [now 18], and Katie Yeager, 19.
In exclusive interviews ONLY in In Touch, on newsstands now, the girls talk about why they decided to do the show and what you can expect from the upcoming season.
“I was scared to do the show [initially],” Mackenzie, mom of 14-month-old Gannon, tells In Touch. “But I can’t look back and change the fact that I got pregnant so all I can do is look towards the future.”
She says she and fiancé Josh let viewers into every part their life. “You’ll see our good and bad times.”
Alex plans to show viewers the struggles of working two jobs to keep 15-month-old Arabella’s troubled dad out of their lives. “I refuse to let him see her,” Alex tells In Touch.
She hopes the show will help teens learn from her mistakes. “I see too many young girls making the same mistake I did; being sexually active at too young an age.”
Briana, who got pregnant with daughter Nova just a week apart from her sister, says her story is different from the others. “My story lets you see, there are different choices,” Briana says, who decided to keep her daughter, while her sister had an abortion. “With every choice you make, there’s hardships. No matter what, it’s still going to be difficult, but you still have a choice.”
And mom to 14-month-old Molli, Katie, isn’t letting teen pregnancy stop her from fulfilling her dreams. She’s studying to be a social worker and hopes her story can inspire others. “I want to help people,” Katie tells In Touch.
