Teresa Giudice Appears On Watch What Happens Live To Address Fraud Trial: “Why Is This Happening To Me?”
September 27, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin
Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe are currently facing 50 years behind bars following a 39-count indictment this past July. Since the news broke, fans and media have been flooding the couple with questions. Are they really going to jail? Who will care for the kids? Are they leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey?
Although the pair isn’t allowed to talk about the ins and outs of the case and their defense, they will be appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday where they will open up about several hard-hitting issues including their children and the sentence that they face.
“I can’t fall apart, I have my daughters,” Teresa explains to Andy after being asked where she is emotionally. “They mean the world to me.”
Despite the heartbreaking circumstances, Teresa is doing her best to maintain her home life as normal. She’s also staying positive, hoping that there is a silver lining hidden somewhere in the madness.
“There’s like — you go through things in life. I don’t know why, I mean, I think — I’m asking, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ So, maybe there’s something that my daughters can learn from this,” Teresa wonders. “You know, my mom was really strong from this, she was there for us, and I hope they always have that with them.”
Teresa and Joe’s episode of Watch What Happens Live will air after the season 5 finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey this Sunday, September 29, at 9:00pm on Bravo.
