Teresa Giudice Says Bravo Is “Not Interested” In Her Happy Times With Brother Joe Gorga, Explains Why She Turned Down A Spinoff

Teresa Giudice has been starring on The Real Housewives of New Jersey for five seasons now, so if anyone knows what Bravo is looking for in their footage, it’s her, and she claims what they want is drama. During a recent event, Teresa spoke to the media about Bravo’s constant refusal to show her in happy times and clearly, it is not something she’s thrilled about.
“Bravo is not interested in that – they only want the drama!” Teresa told Radar Online in regard to a recent reconciliation with her brother, Joe Gorga.
Although Teresa says she has “bonded with her brother,” Bravo won’t air the footage and that’s frustrating to Teresa who feels that she is consistently pegged as the bad guy. Bravo likely wants to keep the feud going because that’s what is drawing an audience and keeping fans invested. However, their decision to focus on the bad has left Teresa hesitant to work with Bravo on a show of her own.
“I was offered [a spinoff] many times,” Teresa said, explaining, “I don’t want a show that focuses on me and my children…I would not want my family ripped apart!”
After seeing what the show has done to her extended family, Teresa doesn’t want her marriage and her children to be at risk for the same result. In fact, she only allows her kids to be on The Real Housewives of New Jersey if they are comfortable with it.
“I don’t force them to go before the cameras,” she said. “I only let them on if they feel like it.”
