Teresa Giudice Is Thrilled About Caroline’s Exit, Kathy’s Downgrade

The cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has gotten a reboot following the series’ fifth season which wrapped filming a few months ago. Although Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga will be returning as housewives, the rest of the cast is completely different. Not only are Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita not returning, Kathy Wakile has also reportedly been downgraded, and three new wives have been added.

There is a lot of change in store, but Teresa, for one, couldn’t be more excited to move past the gang’s former dynamic.

“Teresa can’t stand Kathy,” a source tells Radar Online. “Let’s face it: When Kathy said, ‘You’re father’s a coward and you’re mother’s a liar,’ you don’t forgive that. You don’t walk away from that. She could care less about Kathy. Kathy came on behind her back [and] says s*** about her parents. Why would she want her around?”

“Kathy was the troublemaker,” the source continues. “She’s demoted.”

As for Caroline, Teresa is glad to see her go — and she’s not the only one.

“Everybody’s happy Caroline’s gone. She was a bully,” the source says. “Caroline was the biggest b***h to [walk] the face of the earth. Everybody was afraid of her, so if she turned against you, then everybody would turn. If Caroline turned against you last year, those girls were too afraid to go against Caroline. So now that Caroline’s off, she’s not going to rule anymore.”

Now that Caroline and Jacqueline are out of the picture, Teresa is excited to end the family feuding that has been going on within her brood and may even team up with her former foe, sister-in-law Melissa, when the new series begins.

The source adds, “She’s happy that there’s new people on because she doesn’t want to fight with her family. She goes, ‘I’ll fight with strangers all day long. I’m not fighting with my family.’”
