The Bachelor Season 17 Episode Three Recap: Part Two

Now to where the real drama happens…
Right before Ashlee’s individual date with Sean, Tierra falls down the stairs and hits her head. ABC doesn’t show you the fall, but you hear the sound effects of a fall. She’s lying on the stairs waiting for Sean to arrive. Ashlee is dressed in a very cute dress with hair and makeup done. You can tell she’s upset that Tierra is stealing her thunder. The paramedics are called and they put her on a stretcher with a neck collar. She keeps telling them she doesn’t want to get an x-ray and she’s fine. This behavior leads the girls to believe that she faked the entire thing. Sean is concerned with her and they hang out outside making jokes about the incident. Ashlee says “Tierra thinks it’s cute to play the victim” and other girls feel bad for Ashlee. After Sean spends time with Tierra, Ashlee and Sean go to Six Flags and have the entire park to themselves. Because Sean is such a charitable and “compassionate” man, he invites two girls who are best friends online and on the phone but have never met. They both have long-term illnesses and being able to ride Six Flags rides is a dream come true. The girls, Emily and Brianna, are adorable and look like they’re having a great time. I like that Sean realizes the show is over-the-top and includes charitable works in order to justify the experience. ABC makes him out to be entirely perfect and I’m sure he does possess some of these qualities. I bet all the men in American wish they had ABC as their personal PR team. They also enjoy a private concert with the Eli Young Band. Ashlee opens up about her childhood, being in foster homes, and the abuse she endured. Sean cries with her and gives her a rose.
The cocktail party is full of the girls having no shame in stealing Sean away in the middle of conversations. The girls are under the impression that a kiss will seal the deal with Sean. Desiree kisses him and then Tierra steals him and the other girls continue the pattern.
Kacie B apologizes for her behavior last night, but it’s too late for her. Sean has put her in the friend-zone after her unattractive dramatics. He pulls her aside during the rose ceremony and tells her that they can only be friends. After Kacie put herself out there again, she is left with no rose and a broken heart. Can she please be the next Bachelorette? I think it’s time!
Sean gives roses to Catherine, Tierra, Daniella, Desiree, Amanda, Jackie, Selma, Sarah, Leslie H, and Robyn. Thankfully, Taryn is eliminated because she was way too much and also Kristy, the “Best from the Midwest.”
