The Bachelor Season 17 Episode Seven Recap: Part Two

February 12, 2013 by Hollywoodite

Sean enlists his sister, Shay, to figuring out who he should send home. He can only keep four girls and the task to break up with two of them seems daunting. Shay bluntly says, “hearts will be broken like yours, but they’ll get over it.” I like her already. This isn’t brain surgery, it’s reality TV and these relationship most likely aren’t forever.

He wants his sister to meet Tierra because he knows that the girls have problems with her. Shay states the obvious that there is always that girl who all the girls don’t like. She doesn’t want him to pick that girl. This conversation takes place coincidentally while Tierra and AshLee are having it out. Ashlee confronts her rude behavior and Tierra gets defensive and whiny. Tierra can only say, “girls are jealous, men love me.” She insults AshLee’s age of 32 and tells her that it’s pathetic that she sits around and gossips with twenty year olds. Tierra says “I can’t fix my face” in response to her attitude and how she gives dirty looks at the girls. Then AshLee brings up Tierra’s sparkle. Her parents told Tierra that she has a sparkle and don’t let the girls take your sparkle. Now we know why Tierra is this crazy! Her parents raised her thinking she was better than everyone else with her “sparkle.” Tierra needs therapy. She stomps out like a child throwing a tantrum. She’s crying and Sean walks in to console her. When will he get tired of the tears and drama?

FINALLY, he tells her that she confronted AshLee and thinks she was sabotaged. Sean doesn’t like to see her upset, but he’s over it.  She’s (fake) crying and he tells her that because he cares about her it would be best if she went home. He couldn’t keep her there knowing how hard it was for her. She walks out with her sparkle and I think every viewer jumped out of their seat with glee.

On to the rose ceremony….

With Tierra gone, only one girl has to be sent home. Unfortunately, because Leslie was so slow to put down her guard and reveal her feelings, she was sent home. I really liked her because she was sassy and confident, but couldn’t portray that properly to Sean.  Hometown dates should be amazing next Monday. Lindsay, Catherine, AshLee, and Desiree secured their hometown dates! So relieved that Tierra is out of there!  No more tears!
