The Bachelor Villain Courtney Robertson Announces Plans For “Juicy And Hilarious” Memoir
September 30, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin
Courtney Robertson made a splash on the 16th season of The Bachelor as the mean model who had more than a few not-so-nice comments for her co-stars. However, according to her, she’s not the woman whom she appeared to be on the show and in a new book, she plans to reveal her side of the story.
“Going on The Bachelor was the most amazing opportunity I’ve ever had but I did not have a fairy tale ending!” Courtney explains to Us Weekly. “The girls hated me, my modeling career was destroyed and Ben and I had a tumultuous 11-month relationship that ultimately imploded. There are two sides to every story.”
In her new book, I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain, Courtney intends to share what it was like becoming the villain of such a popular series, and the implications she suffered because of it. Plus, for Courtney, it’s important to let people know that she’s not a bully.
“I wanted a chance to talk about what went down from my perspective, because I think there are a lot of misconceptions out there about me,” Courtney explained. ”Writing the book has been very cathartic — I’ve definitely learned a lot about myself and love!”
Adds Courtney, “I think fans of the show are going to love it, it’s totally juicy and hilarious.”
I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain will be released by Harper Collins. So far, no release date has been noted.
