The Situation Sued For Allegedly Hiding Prescription Pill Addiction
July 23, 2012 by Hollywoodite
It had been speculated for a while that Jersey Shore’s The Situation had an addiction problem. Months before he entered rehab, sources told tabloids about his issues with alcohol and suspected addiction to cocaine, Xanax and Ambien. Except The Situation only copped to taking prescription pills then dried out from alcohol before entering treatment at the Cirque Lodge rehab center in Utah.
The Situation made his admission in March, which is months after her allegedly struck this promotional deal in September 2011. A Florida-based company hired The Situation paying $75,000 in advance for him to promote a fat metabolizing cream. He was supposed to shill on social media and shill on the red carpet for product launches. Except, instead, he allegedly flaked and eventually went into rehab. Moreover, apparently, his publicist lied about / failed to disclose his addiction which may have been prohibitive of The Situation landing the deal, thus breaching contract. His counter suit alleges the company were ill-prepared, under-marketed, and didn’t give him free product (which the company denies).
