This Again: Life & Style’s FAKE Weight Loss Reveal With Jessica Simpson Using OLD Photo

Last week, American Media Inc.’s Star Magazine published a completely fabricated “exclusive” weight loss reveal of Kim Kardashian in a bikini in photos that were actually circa 2008/9. The magazine lied to fans on its cover and intimated strongly that the photos were of a postpartum Kardashian who had given them the exclusive. But it was utter fabrication.
It’s fanfic time again, apparently, because here is this week’s cover of Bauer’s Life & Style Magazine with a completely fake reveal of Jessica Simpson in a photo circa her Nick & Jessica days (the photo is hard to date, but you get the idea). No, this isn’t exclusive. No, this isn’t a recent photo. No, Simpson didn’t lose that much weight… Simpson was photographed July 25 looking like this so the cover is a complete FRAUD.
The cover headline says this: “(May 13 Jessica at her heaviest) 25 lbs in 5 weeks. ‘YES, I did it.’ Her eat what you like diet; The easy and fun at-home workout; Jess’ simple flat stomach trick. The cruel digs that made her do it right this time.” Firstly, she was at her “heaviest” because she was in her final trimester. Second, there’s no “trick” to losing weight. And she still looks great, she just looks nothing like the YEARS old photo on the cover.
Another aside on the cover, Jennifer Aniston is NOT pregnant; she’s wearing an unflattering dress.
UPDATE: Jezebel.com notes, Life & Style really did it this time. The photo they’re lying about being postpartum 2013 on the cover is really OLD; like, the 2006 Teen Choice Awards old.
