TLC To Air Additional Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Episodes

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo! TLC has decided to add additional episodes of their hit show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, to the current second season. The show has been a breakout success since its first premiere in August 2012. The second season finale where June “Mama June” Shannon and Sugar Bear took part in a commitment ceremony scored the highest ratings to date for the show.
Honey Boo Boo was the second Toddlers and Tiaras girl to get her own spin off show after Eden Wood landed Eden’s World. Many people forgot about that show once it began to air. Fans thought Eden was robotic and had no personality. The opposite can be said about Honey Boo Boo and her family. Honey Boo Boo has given us plenty of memorable quotes such as, “A dolla makes me holla, honey boo boo child.” Fans, including me, fell in love with the show because the family did not care what other people think about them and they actually seem to love and care about each other.
The additional episodes will premiere on New Year’s Day. TLC executive vice president of production and development released a statement (Via RealityTea) about the new episodes and why audiences are so fascinated by them, “The world continues to be fascinated by the Boo Boo gang and their crazy hijinks. As Alana gets older, the dynamic between her parents and sisters is changing. Viewers can look forward to seeing a different side of the family as they embark on this exciting new chapter of their lives.”
I am happy that I will be able to see more of them on my television screen. I’m captivated by them and cannot stop watching.
