Who Is Todd Waterman: Kris Jenner Talks Todd Waterman Affair On KUWTK

June 18, 2012 by Hollywoodite

This again. Kris Jenner addresses her affair with Todd Waterman on Keeping Up With The Kardashians season seven episode five June 17, 2012 entitled The Man in the Memoir. Yes, she literally admitted in plain English in the episode title (she’s an executive producer) that she left Robert Kardashian Sr. for Waterman decades ago (“it’s been over 23 years since I even laid eyes on him”).

The episode opens with generic familial banter… then on to a tennis game during which she asks about a familiar guy in the distance, only to be told it’s “Todd Waterman” the guy she called “Ryan” in her book, Kris Jenner And All Things Kardashian, while bragging about the enthusiastic extramarital cheating all over her house (and all over town).

It didn’t take long for Waterman, an animator (whose credits include Mulan, Anastasia, and Stuart Little) and a former professional soccer player for the Los Angeles Heat, to offer his story to the tabloids although he denies being Khloe Kardashian’s biological father since the timing was off by about five years. Soon after addressing the paternity scandal, Waterman said his ex-girlfriend, Jenner, was basically pimping her kids since middle school and they didn’t know any better.

And now he’s featured on the show.

Jenner says in voice over: “I was really crazy about Todd, and Todd was really crazy about me. But I think that Todd was very, very young and probably way too young to settle down with one person.” Waterman was 24-years-old when the affair began.

She tells a producer on-camera: “He looks like he wanted to talk to me, I don’t know what’s going on but I’m just going to wait over here for a second.” She then talks directly to Waterman, as cameras rush over and film from across the street. Waterman says: “I’m shaking now. You look fantastic. Do I look older? A little white in the beard.” After the platitudes, Jenner says: “That means hopefully you’ve learned something and aged and matured and all that s**t.”

Returning to voice over, Jenner says: “When I did write about him in my memoir, I didn’t want to expose his identity because I would never compromise his privacy. But he came out and talked about our relationship.”

Waterman says, in person, to Jenner: “A lot of that stuff that came out, they really twist the hell out of it. I just want you to know that. (Jenner counters: “I would never have said your name in a book”).” Waterman continues: “I sent you emails and you never responded.” Jenner says she doesn’t have that old address but spells out her assistant’s business email (Waterman writes later calling Jenner by her old pet name “Snooka”). They wrap up, more platitudes, they hug for a long time and Waterman jokes: “I’m not gonna want to let go.”

The matriarch recounts the conversation to her husband as though addressing Waterman: “I wouldn’t have done it, the way you did it. And, I think that you were disrespectful.”
