Tom Cruise’s Lawyer Responds To Life & Style Claim Suri Cruise Has Been “Abandoned”

Another day, another cease and desist from Tom Cruise’s lawyer, Bert Fields.
Last week, Fields sent legal notices to National Enquirer about a cover calling Cruise a “monster” whose wife and daughter had been imprisoned and were psychologically terrorised with no choice but to abscond.
And Wednesday, Fields sent a similar letter to Life & Style Magazine for its premature claim that Cruise had “abandoned” his daughter.
Inset on this week’s Life & Style cover says “Suri in tears: Abandoned by her dad.”
The story appears to have been written before the actor had the chance to come to New York City to visit his daughter (before Tuesday, admittedly, the 50-year-old hadn’t seen Suri Cruise for one month). But Fields is on the defensive, lashing out in a letter obtained by TMZ.com and GossipCop.com: “As anyone knows who saw their photos together yesterday and today, is a disgusting, vicious lie,” writes Fields. “Until this week, Tom was shooting a film on location, but he spoke to Suri every day. Tom dearly loves Suri and the last thing he would ever do is abandoned her.”
