Brenda Song & Trace Cyrus Are Engaged, Not Expecting (That They’re Confirming)

Trace Cyrus proposed to girlfriend of half-a-year Brenda Song and she accepted. They’ve actually been engaged for around one week, except Cyrus just confirmed the news on Friday. It would appear he’s confirming once and leaving it there, since Song was photographed wearing her engagement ring, rending the announcement moot.

But, at least there’s a plain English confirmation and it’s not a guessing game like that pregnancy thing. In August, Celebuzz.com claimed to have exclusive information, the only information of its kind they’ve ever published since it’s not their thing, about the contents of Song’s womb. CB claimed The Social Network actress was pregnant even ‘confirming’ the news with some random unnamed source. Soon after, RadarOnline.com approached her mother, who became all indignant about how Song was raised and insisted Song had never been pregnant. So, there was never confirmation from the couple and her mother denied it. So people need to let the story go, it’s not like CB were a reliable source to begin with.

But Cyrus, 22, confirmed the engagement to his 23-year-old fiancee, ‘I am very excited to say, last week I asked my girlfriend Brenda Song to marry me and she said YES! We are both very excited to be engaged!’ Added 18-year-old half-sister Miley, @TraceCyrus can’t wait for Brenda to be a Cyrus 🙂 couldn’t be more excited about my “sister in law to be” yay :)’
