Us Weekly: Khloe Kardashian IVF Story “I’ll Do Anything For A Baby”

December 8, 2011 by Hollywoodite

Again, none of this happened. But, somehow, Us Weekly and ITW have made Khloe Kardashian supposedly starting IVF a cover story; US Weekly just made it their main headline.

Us Weekly’s cover reads: “Khloe Starts In Vitro ‘I’ll Do Anything For A Baby’: Thrilled for Kourtney but desperate for a child, she and Lamar decide they can’t wait.” Again, the cover quote isn’t specifically attributed to the 27-year-old.

“Do anything” sounds so dramatic that you might hope to find a line in here from Khloe about how she has kidnapped a toddler or taken up magick or hypnotized a pregnant lady. But no. Old quotes. Not a new, exclusive interview. Apparently Khloe started in vitro in September, and “naturally, her fertility issues will be a key plotline on the next season of Khloe & Lamar. The upside of the whole thing is that the show “only shows 30% of how sweet and happy” Khlo and Lam are, and he makes her so happy and treats her so well and so on. – via Jezebel.

“She is desperate for a baby with Lamar and will do whatever it takes,” a source close to the couple tells Us Weekly.

The source claims that Kardashian and Odom began consultations in September, and are getting ready for the procedure which costs $10,000 to $15,000 a [go]. ”They have faith the IVF will work,” the source adds. – via P6.

Basically, since we already established the magazine is in pimp momager’s pocket, Us Weekly appear to be seeding stories for use on the next season of serially-uninteresting Khloe & Lamar, the KUWTK spin-off.

Us Weekly, while other tabloids went for the jugular, went very, very easy on Kim Kardashian during her farce divorce. Mostly because the tabloid paid to attend the honeymoon and stage paparazzi photos. And they faked a story about Kris Humphries being emotionally-abusive to help the family shill a weight loss DVD. So, they’re firmy in pocket still. That’s how they kept Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnancy exclusive. Ugh, so transparent.
