Sunning herself, minding her own business, preternaturally-slender given that she was days away from giving birth, Victoria Beckham was photographed by her husband in a photo posted to his Facebook page. The black and white image, in which mother-to-be was wearing her usual dour colour scheme, shows Beckham before her daughter was born.

The baby girl, the couple first, after marrying in 1999 and having three sons, is the couple’s first. So enamored has the press become with news that Beckham would birth a girl that multiple cheating scandals involving her husband – with former personal assistant, against whom he sought no meaningful legal action, and then with an escort against whom he filed suit and lost.
