VIDEO Oklahoma Tornado Survivor Finds Her Missing Dog During A Live Interview
Barbara Garcia survived this week’s catastrophic tornado in her home town of Moore, Oklahoma.
Following the destruction of her home, in the storm that killed dozens of people and totaled thousands more residences like hers, Garcia was being interviewed by CBS News.
She explains that she hid from the storm in her bathroom with her dog. Although, when the storm cleared, she was okay but the dog was nowhere to be found.
She suspected the dog was buried under the rubble near where the home once stood. She was right, mid-interview, you see a little snout sticking out of the rubble (and it’s easy to assume the worst).
However, the dog is fine!
Garcia exclaims “I thought God just answered one prayer to let me be okay… he answered both of them.”
If this video feels familiar, it’s because this isn’t actually unique. It happened at least once before. Another woman, another natural disaster, but this time a found cat. It’s worth waiting for this one too, to hear the purring against the mic near at the end.
