Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino Looking Forward To Show Ending Next Week

As much as it seems sad that the final episode of Jersey Shore will be airing next week, it’s not so sad for Vinny Guadagnino who seems ready to move on from the show that made him a reality TV star.

In an interview with Zap2it, Guadagnino expressed that the show had been fun and an interesting experience but there were negatives to the show of which the the audience may not be aware.

“It was fun. It was crazy living with the same people 24 hours a day for two months straight. There was zero privacy, no escape, no TV, no cellphone, no radio, no music, no sounds. All you could do is talk to each other for two months straight. In a way that sucks, but in another way it is a cool life experience, where you have to go back to the Stone Age and find things to do to keep busy. You cannot take off. I had to leave to get some sleep. For the most part, it was a lot of fun, too, everyone making a mockery. Paulie was there to wake me every morning.”

Zero privacy wasn’t the only aspect of the Jersey Shore house with which he had a problem. In season five, he left the house for a few days due to experiencing anxiety while also feeling home sick.

In the same interview, he also talked about what it was like for him to be away from home.

“I won’t miss being away from my family. You are away from your home and family for a long period of time. I have a huge family. They are my life. We have Sunday dinner every Sunday together.”

Then again, despite missing his family, there might actually be an ulterior motive for Guadagnino being ready to move on from the show.

It was announced last month that he had been granted his own spinoff show on MTV. It will be called The Show With Vinny and will feature the Jersey Shore star interviewing Hollywood guests in a talk show type of format.

MTV is yet to release a premiere date for the new show.
