Watch Extreme Cougar Wives Episode Preview: TLC’s Latest Contrived Reality Show
There’s been so much alleged fraud on TLC’s Breaking Amish that the network belatedly announced a two-part reunion special to address the rumours about their marriages, their children, and crimes that never made it onto the show. And the cast may explain why they’re pretending to be in the Amish despite leaving years ago, pretending to leave the community again, and pretending to experience everything for the first time, but in New York, for a fake reality show.
That show has been enormously successful, despite the criticism, with its ratings nearly matching TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. And the network is trying to do it again with what feels like, and this is conjecture, another show on which everything… everything… is faked for ratings.

TLC’s Extreme Cougar Wives [will] focus on three cougars: There’s 76-year-old Hattie… Then there’s 65-year-old Stephanie and her 28-year-old piece Octavio. And, finally, there’s 53-year-old Jude and her 21-year-old boyfriend Kevin who she met when he dated her daughter 7 years ago.
Kevin’s mom flips out in a totally natural and not-at-all scripted moment where he tells her how old his girlfriend is. – via Dlisted.
